Play leaders

At Grange Junior School, we have a team of trained year 5 and 6 Play Leaders who help at lunch time. They work alongside year 3, 4, and 5, encouraging the children to play small sided games which teaches them to share with each other and promotes team spirit.

Are you interested in becoming a playground leader?
Would you be prepared to:

-Give up some of your lunchtimes
-Help to organise games  and  activities for other children in the playground
-Be responsible for handing out  and collecting in play equipment
-Help to make your playground a safe  and  happy place to play
-Complete a playground leaders course.

 

 

 

If you are interested in being trained to be a play leader, you will need to complete an application form. This should be handed back to the PE leader Mrs Fleet.
