We currently have a vancacy for an After School club Play Leader
We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and reliable After School Club Play Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children at the end of the school day. You will plan and deliver a range of creative, physical, and play-based activities that promote cooperation, independence, and enjoyment.
The club operates between 3.15-6.15pm Monday-Friday. Shifts are flexible, which mean that the role can work around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage pupils during after school club hours.
Plan and lead a variety of activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, and quiet time.
Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all children in your care.
Support positive behaviour and encourage good relationships among children.
Set up and tidy away equipment and resources each day.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff.
Follow the school’s safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times.
About You
Enthusiastic, friendly, and passionate about working with children.
Able to use your initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and well-organised.
Experience working with children in a school or play setting (desirable but not essential).
Knowledge of safeguarding and first aid procedures preferred (training can be provided).
