LSA with lunchtime supervisory duties

Casual (28 hours a week)

Salary type support staff Grade B range £24,976 – £25,128  pa pro rata.

Hours of work 8.45am-3.15pm Monday-Friday including lunchtime supervisor shifts term time only

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated LSA to work 28 hours a week in our friendly and supportive Key stage 2 team. The duties will be split between working with groups and individuals in class and organising and leading intervention strategies for small groups/individuals outside of the classroom.

We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience
  • An ability to use ICT effectively to support learning
  • Good communication skills and able to clarify and explain instructions clearly
  • Excellent literacy/numeracy skills
  • Team worker
  • Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
  • Nurture experience preferable

Alongside the role of LSA you will have the opportunity to work part time as an  HLTA, paid at an uplifted rate,  to cover absences, intervention teaching and PPA cover when required.

You will need to be flexible, creative and easily able to adapt to the changing needs of our busy school.

You will be joining a dynamic, passionate and progressive group of teachers who strive to gain the maximum from our rich curriculum to support our children.

We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:

  • Has experience of being an LSA/HLTA in a school setting
  • Highly qualified with excellent literacy and numeracy skills

After School Care Club Supervisor

We are looking to appoint an NVQ Level 3 After School Care Club Supervisor

The successful candidate will assist in the day to day running of the After School Club ensuring the children develop personally, socially and educationally in a safe and caring environment.  The successful candidate will work in partnership with the school team to provide excellent care for our pupils and have exceptional communication skills.

Salary Type: Grade A £12.56 hourly rate

Hours of work : 3:00 pm – 6:15pm – Monday  – Friday (Other shifts available)
